Manchester United currently have 10 first-team players out of contract next June, while Martin Dubravka's loan deal from Newcastle United is also set to expire at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils have the option of signing Dubravka on a permanent basis next summer, but the 33-year-old has only played once for the club this term, and it seems likely that he will head back to parent club Newcastle United for the 2023-24 campaign.
Fellow stopper Tom Heaton also only has a deal until the end of the season, but there is the option for an additional 12 months, and it would not be a shock if the 36-year-old stayed at the club as a number three.
Out-of-favour defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones only have deals until next June, and it appears almost certain that both players will be leaving Old Trafford on free transfers.

There is an option to extend Jones's deal, but that is unlikely to be taken up unless there is a drastic change over the next few weeks, but Tuanzebe's contract does not include that clause.
Alejandro Garnacho's deal is also due to expire next June, but the 18-year-old is said to be in talks with the Red Devils over a lucrative long-term contract due to his recent form.
The Argentine has been a regular for the first team of late, and he scored his first Premier League goal against Fulham in his side's final match before the break for the World Cup.
As well as Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot are certainly three players that the club want to keep amid their contract issues.
The trio also only have deals until next June, but the club have the option to extend the agreements by a further 12 months, which could be taken up to allow them to negotiate longer-term contracts.

There has not been much speculation surrounding the futures of Rashford and Shaw since the start of the season, but Dalot's form this term has allegedly attracted interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
David de Gea has also been an important player for the club this season, but there is uncertainty surrounding the 32-year-old's future.
There have been claims that Man United boss Erik ten Hag wants to bring in a new number one, but it would not be a shock to see De Gea stay and sign another long-term deal, with a decision potentially being made over the break for the World Cup, as the 32-year-old is not involved for his country.
Fred, meanwhile, could allegedly be allowed to leave on a free transfer next June.
A recent report claimed that the 29-year-old is valued by Ten Hag, but the head coach wants to overhaul the midfield over the next couple of transfer windows.

The 37-year-old was heavily critical of the club, including the owners, and head coach Ten Hag, during the 90-minute discussion with Morgan.
