Inter Milan are reportedly some way short of Manchester United's asking price for Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku has been strongly linked with a move to Inter in recent weeks and it has been reported that the Belgium international has already agreed a long-term contract with the Serie A giants.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, though, Inter - now under the management of Antonio Conte - are more than £20m short of United's £75m valuation for the 26-year-old.
Lukaku scored 27 times during an impressive first season at Old Trafford following a 2017 move from Everton.
The Belgian only managed 15 goals for the Red Devils in all competitions last term, though, and is not said in the plans of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer moving forward due to his perceived lack of mobility.
However, Inter will reportedly have to sell Mauro Icardi ahead this summer if they wish to complete a deal for Lukaku due to the rules on Financial Fair Play.
