New Manchester United signing Daniel James has reportedly seen his wage skyrocket to £67,000 per week in his new deal at Old Trafford.
United confirmed yesterday that they have agreed terms in principle over a deal for the 21-year-old, who is expected to cost around £18m.
James will officially join the Red Devils when the international transfer window opens next week, and his new contract will see him earn a substantial pay rise from his time at Swansea City.
The Wales international is currently paid £4,000 per week at the Liberty Stadium, but the Daily Mail claims that his United deal is worth £67,000 per week - almost 17 times as much as he earns in South Wales.
James made 33 appearances for Swansea in the Championship last season, scoring four goals and creating seven more.
The youngster will become United's first signing of what is expected to be a busy summer, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly focusing on bringing young players to the club.
