Crystal Palace are reportedly growing increasingly confident about their chances of signing Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United this month.

Crystal Palace are reportedly confident about their chances of landing Manchester United outcast Donny van de Beek on loan before Monday's deadline.

The former Ajax man remains on the fringes of the Man United first team under Ralf Rangnick, who has affirmed that he wants the midfielder to stay for the rest of the season.

However, Van de Beek is thought to be pushing for an exit amid his lack of game time, with Palace boss Patrick Vieira supposedly determined to bring the Dutchman to Selhurst Park.

According to the Daily Mail, Palace have now stepped up their pursuit of the unsettled 24-year-old, and there is 'significant hope' that a deal can be wrapped up this month.

The report adds that the Red Devils are open to letting Van de Beek depart before the deadline, and the player would welcome the move to Selhurst Park following positive discussions between the two parties.

Van de Beek has not started a single Premier League game for Man United this season, earning just 68 minutes of top-flight action in eight substitute appearances.
