Barcelona are reportedly weighing up whether to sell Neymar this summer amid interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old is contracted at Camp Nou until the end of the 2017-18 season but is seeking an improvement on his current weekly wages of £77,000.
According to The Sun, Barca have serious financial concerns about increasing the Brazilian's pay packet as they continue to pay off previous debts and hunt for a shirt sponsor for next season.
Neymar has a release clause in his contract of £154m, a price that United are said to be willing to meet, alongside a wage bump worth £300,000 per week.
United's potential lack of Champions League football next season could be a deciding factor in whether Neymar moves to Old Trafford, however, with big-spending Ligue 1 champions PSG also rumoured to be preparing a bid.
Barcelona recently insisted that Neymar "will not be sold" this summer.
