Arsenal have reportedly rejected Manchester United's bid for Thomas Vermaelen.
The Red Devils were said to have recently made an official offer for the Belgium defender, but it has now been turned down by the Gunners, according to The Mirror.
The report claims that the offer from United is nowhere near the Gunners' valuation of their centre-back, and manager Arsene Wenger is also reluctant to lose a player to a direct rival.
It is understood that Napoli are also keeping tabs on Vermaelen's situation.
