Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eyes Old Trafford upset

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that his side can beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed that his side are capable of beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Solskjaer returns to his former club for the first time after spending 11 years as a player at the Theatre of Dreams from 1996 to 2007.

Despite bottom-placed Cardiff being big underdogs for the encounter, the Norwegian believes that they can come away with a positive result.

"We're going to go out there and give it our best shot," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "We'll play with lots of energy and passion and enjoy the occasion.

"We hope to take our form in the FA Cup into the league now. Our performances have been good. We want three points."

Cardiff travel to Old Trafford on a winless run of six matches in the Premier League.
