David Silva admits that he and his teammates must be more clinical in front of goal.

David Silva has said that his side must be more clinical in front of goal against Arsenal in order to keep pace with Manchester United.

The Manchester City star insists that he and his teammates must rediscover their goal-scoring form before it is too late, as they come off back-to-back ties against Stoke City and Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

"The big difference to previous months is that the goals are [not] going in," he told Goal.com. "We are creating opportunities but we need more.

"Before we were more efficient. I don't know what has happened. We have had pressure for the whole season because we were leaders. What United are doing does not affect us.

"Arsenal lost their last league match, but have put together an incredible run of victories and on their ground it will be difficult."

Roberto Mancini's side remain five points adrift of league leaders Manchester United.
