Wayne Rooney has admitted that he and Robin van Persie must improve their partnership in attack for Manchester United.
Despite scoring 27 goals between them for United this season, Rooney claims that the duo can do more to help the Red Devils climb the Premier League table.
"I think we are doing alright," the England forward told the club's official website.
"Obviously, we can do better and if we are not at the top of the league then that will get looked at and we understand that.
"Personally, we can score more goals and we know we can. We are working hard to do that, we have to keep going and hopefully that will come."
Both forwards are likely to be named in the team to face Liverpool on Sunday.
