Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez may be resigned to leaving Hugo Rodallega out of his side's trip to Manchester United on Boxing Day.
Despite suffering a knock in the Premier League side's 1-1 draw with Chelsea last weekend, the striker featured in the Latics' goalless stalemate with Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Spanish manager will wait to assess the frontman's fitness before Wigan's visit to Old Trafford on Monday.
Martinez may also be without defender Steve Gohouri if he doesn't recover from flu in the next few days.
