Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata has labelled teammate Radamel Falcao a "great professional", as the loan striker looks to find his way into Louis van Gaal's starting XI.
The Colombian frontman has found life at Old Trafford a touch difficult having moved on loan from Monaco in the summer, with a niggling injury and competition from the likes of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and James Wilson seeing him slip down the pecking order.
However, midfielder Mata has suggested that Falcao is working as hard as ever while he waits to get his chance under United's Dutch coach.
"He is training very well, he is waiting for his opportunity like the great professional he is, like the great team-mate he is," said Mata, according to The Express.
Van Gaal's United side currently occupy third position in the Premier League table, having won their last six games in a row.
