Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian has expressed his confidence that the club will fight for trophies on all fronts during the upcoming season.
United won the Community Shield, League Cup and Europa League during Jose Mourinho's debut campaign at the club last season, but they performed poorly in the Premier League on their way to a sixth-place finish.
Darmian is confident that the team will put up a stronger fight in the league this season, though, and believes that they will compete for silverware both domestically and abroad.
"Of course when you play for Manchester United, you have to try to win a lot of trophies. Also because Manchester United is used to winning we try to do our best to win other trophies," he told PA.
"Last season was good because we won three trophies and we want to continue like this. We will fight for the Premier League, of course for the Champions League and the other trophies we have this season.
"Manchester United is probably the biggest club in the world. Of course it means a lot for me to be here and pushes me to every time do my best."
Man Utd begin their Premier League campaign at home to West Ham United on August 13.
