Ajax defender Jurrien Timber was present at Wembley for Saturday's FA Cup final amid fresh reports linking him with a move to Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, but he ultimately remained with Ajax and penned a new contract with the Dutch giants until June 2025.
Timber was again a vital player at club level during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 47 occasions in all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists in the process.
The Netherlands international recently suggested that he could Ajax in the upcoming market, with the Eredivisie outfit thought to be willing to sell him for a fee in the region of £44m.
Man United are preparing to sign a new defender this summer, with Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe set to leave, and club captain Harry Maguire expected to depart due to his struggles for starts.

Timber allegedly remains of interest to the Red Devils, with their head coach Erik ten Hag a huge admirer of the defender that he managed at Ajax.
The Dutchman was pictured attending Saturday's FA Cup final, which Man United lost 2-1 to Manchester City, with Ilkay Gundogan scoring a double for the Citizens.
Victor Lindelof lined up alongside Raphael Varane in the middle of the defence at Wembley, with Lisandro Martinez on the sidelines since the middle of April due to a foot injury.
Timber primarily operated as a centre-back for Ajax during the 2022-23 season, but he is capable of featuring as a right-back, playing in that area of the field during Ten Hag's time in charge of the Amsterdam club.

Timber featured on 34 occasions during Ajax's Eredivisie campaign, but a disappointing season saw the team finish in third spot in the table, 13 points behind the champions Feyenoord.
The Dutchman also played six times in the Champions League, but Ajax failed to make it out of the group stage of the competition before being beaten by Union Berlin in the Europa League knockout playoff round.
Timber made his first-team debut for his Amsterdam club in March 2020, and he has now represented the club on 121 occasions in all competitions.
Liverpool are also believed to be keen on the defender, but Man United are expected to be in pole position for his signature if he signals a desire to switch clubs this summer.
