Angel di Maria hoping positive big-game form continues

Manchester United midfielder Angel di Maria is hoping to continue his good form in big matches against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Angel di Maria is eager to continue his positive form in important encounters when his Manchester United side take on Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this evening.

During his stint with Real Madrid, the Argentine often produced some memorable performances against rivals Barcelona, as well as being named the man of the match during last season's Champions League final.

Although his displays in England have been inconsistent so far, the 27-year-old is determined to help United reach the last four of the competition at the expense of the Gunners.

"I always like to play in big games when you have the chance to play against great players who are high in quality. When you play against a top side it's even more enjoyable and it's even more of a source of motivation," he told United Review.

"So when you win big games like this it's a good thing both individually and for the group as a whole. Let's hope that things continue to go well for me in big matches as I have got some lovely memories."

Di Maria has scored four goals during his 21 outings this term.
