Team News: Jesse Lingard handed Manchester United start

Jesse Lingard starts for Manchester United in one of two changes for the trip to take on CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

Louis van Gaal has given the nod to Jesse Lingard to start Manchester United's Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow this evening.

The 22-year-old has played just 45 minutes for the Red Devils so far this term, coming last time out at Everton, but he is trusted from the off in the Group B clash.

United have made two changes in all following Saturday's triumph at Goodison Park, with Antonio Valencia the other player to be brought into the first team.

Juan Mata and Matteo Darmian are the men to make way, meanwhile, as the visitors aim to make it back-to-back wins in Europe.

CSKA have made just the one change, as Alan Dzagoev - who has found the net against the English outfit in the past - replaces Kirill Panchenko in the starting lineup.

CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev; Fernandes, Berezutski, Ignashevich, Schennikov; Tosic, Wernbloom, Eremenko, Musa; Dzagoev; Doumbia
Subs: Chepchugov, A Berezutski, Panchenko, Nababkin, Cauna, Milanov, Golovin

Manchester United: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Rojo; Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin; Lingard, Herrera, Martial; Rooney
Subs: Romero, Blind, Darmian, Carrick, Mata, Fellaini, Memphis
