Memphis Depay plans to celebrate if he scores against former club PSV

Memphis Depay says that he will celebrate if he scores against his former club PSV Eindhoven in their Champions League meeting tonight.

Manchester United's Memphis Depay has claimed that he will celebrate if he scores against his former club PSV Eindhoven in tonight's Champions League Group B clash.

The 21-year-old spent nine years at the Dutch club, but opted to leave for Old Trafford in the summer for a reported £25m fee.

While some players refrain from celebrating a goal against their former clubs as a sign of respect, Depay has no plans to do the same.

"A lot of people ask me [if I will celebrate]," Depay told reporters. "I have respect for PSV but I will celebrate. Football is a game and scoring is special."

Depay has scored twice for United so far this season.
