Team News: Anthony Martial makes first start for Manchester United against PSV Eindhoven

Anthony Martial is handed his first Manchester United start for the Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven.

Anthony Martial will start for Manchester United in tonight's Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven.

The French striker has been handed his full debut after coming off the bench to score against Liverpool on Saturday.

Wayne Rooney has not recovered from the injury that kept him out of the weekend victory, which means that Martial starts as the lone striker, with Memphis Depay, Juan Mata and Ashley Young playing behind him.

United manager Louis van Gaal has made two changes to the side, with Martial and Young coming in for Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick, who both drop to the bench. David de Gea retains his place in goal.

For the hosts, Luuk de Jong starts up front after netting a hat-trick against Cambuur over the weekend.

PSV Eindhoven: Zoet; Arias, Bruma, Moreno, Brenet; Hendrix, Propper, Guardado; Narsingh, De Jong, Lestienne
Subs: Pasveer, Pereiro, Schaars, Poulsen, Locadia, Vloet, De Wijs

Manchester United: De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Schweinsteiger, Herrera; Young, Mata, Depay; Martial
