Manchester City to sign Kevin de Bruyne this week?

Kevin de Bruyne could join Manchester City for £46m this week, according to reports.

Manchester City are reportedly confident of landing Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin de Bruyne by this weekend.

The Belgian has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium in this window, and the former Premier League champions seemed to have moved into pole position for his signature.

The Daily Mail claims that City could wrap up a £46m deal to sign the 24-year-old this week, and hope to field him against Chelsea on Sunday.

De Bruyne played for Chelsea between 2012-14 before joining Wolfsburg for £18m.
