Pablo Zabaleta calls for away improvement

Pablo Zabaleta calls on his Manchester City teammates to improve their away form this season.

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has told his teammates that they must improve their away form if they want to win the Premier League title.

The Blues maintained their 100% home record on Sunday as they brushed aside Tottenham Hotspur 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

However, four defeats out of six matches on the road have left the team six points off leaders Arsenal.

"We know at the moment we are playing very well at home," Sky Sports News quotes Zabaleta as saying.

"It is important to play with the same attitude and ambition away from home. We know we have dropped so many points in away games, that is bad for the team.

"But there is still a long way to go and hopefully our performances away from home will improve."

City continue their Champions League campaign on Wednesday when they face Viktoria Plzen at the Etihad Stadium.
