Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has admitted that everyone at the club is eager to reclaim the Premier League title this season.
City missed out last year to rivals Manchester United, but Toure believes that they will have a "good" season under new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
The 30-year-old told Manchester Evening News: "I hope that I can continue to score important goals for the team and I think that this year is going to be a good one for us.
"This year, we want to do the job. We want to work hard, keep it going, make it as difficult as possible for our opponents and try to be better and stronger.
"It's important for me and the club. I know how much everyone desires success and that our fans only want to see one Manchester club profit this season."
Toure netted in City's 4-0 victory over Newcastle United on Monday evening.
