Manchester City defender Micah Richards has revealed that his comeback from injury against Wigan Athletic on Wednesday night "felt good".
The full-back was handed his first start in six months for the Blues following a serious knee injury.
City went on to win the Premier League fixture 1-0 thanks to Carlos Tevez's late goal at the Etihad Stadium.
"It felt good to be back," Richards told the club's official website. "We got the win and that's most important."
Despite Richards's positive assessment, City manager Roberto Mancini was critical of his fitness after the game.
