Sam Allardyce "very surprised" by Manchester City's slump in form

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce admits that he is "very surprised" by Manchester City's recent slump in form.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has admitted that he is "very surprised" by Manchester City's recent poor run of form.

Manuel Pellegrini's side have slipped from Premier League title challengers to fourth in the table, 12 points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

It hasn't been much better for West Ham, who play City away on Sunday, as they have secured just one victory in their last 10 matches.

"I'm very surprised that Man City have lost four away games on the trot, based on the huge amount of talent they have, but like ourselves, they can't find a way to win at the moment," Allardyce told reporters in this morning's press conference.

The Hammers are currently ninth in the standings.
