Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Southampton

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Southampton on Saturday.

Manchester City will be looking to win their fifth successive Premier League game when they travel to St Mary's to face basement club Southampton on Saturday.

The Citizens came from behind to thrash Liverpool 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium last weekend, but the gap to the summit remains eight points after Arsenal – who have played a game more – beat Leeds United by the same scoreline.

Pep Guardiola's men will be seeking revenge when they face Southampton after losing their last visit to the South Coast 2-0 in the EFL Cup quarter-finals earlier this season.

Ahead of the contest against the Saints, who lost 1-0 to relegation rivals West Ham United last time out, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news.

Guardiola confirmed prior to the win over Liverpool that Phil Foden is ruled out for two to three weeks after undergoing appendix surgery at the end of last month.
