Sports Mole looks at how Manchester City could line up in Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola is unlikely to make many alterations to his starting side for Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens will enter the match off the back of a 1-1 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Jack Grealish missed the clash with the Reds due to illness; he could be back in the squad for this fixture, but Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes remain major doubts.

Kevin De Bruyne is also a long-term absentee with a hamstring issue, but John Stones and Sergio Gomez were both back in the squad against Liverpool after injury problems.

Man City are through to the knockout round of the Champions League but are yet to secure first position in the group, so Guardiola is expected to name a strong side on Tuesday.

There could be just the one change to the side that started against Liverpool, with Josko Gvardiol potentially coming in for Nathan Ake at the back.

Manuel Akanji played in midfield against Liverpool and that is again expected to be the case here, as Guardiola will not want to take any risks when it comes to Stones's fitness.

Erling Haaland overcame an ankle problem to feature against Liverpool, and the Norway international will again lead the home side's line in this match.

Manchester City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Gvardiol; Rodri, Akanji; Foden, Alvarez, B Silva, Doku; Haaland
