Carlos Tevez believes that Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is a better player than Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, the Manchester City striker admits that his teammates have to be wary of the Portuguese forward in their Champions League Group D clash at home on Wednesday.
"I think it is normal for Cristiano to think he is the best player in the world," said Tevez. "Anyone who scores 37 or 40 goals a season has the right to think that, but if you ask me, I will always side with Messi.
"Cristiano is one of the best players in the world and he will play this game the way he usually does. He doesn't seem to feel the pressure. We will have to keep an eye on him at all times.
"You have to avoid letting him go. Once he has the opportunity to run he is very dangerous and hits the ball very well, so we have to try to stop him further away from the area."
City are currently at the bottom of Group D with just two points from four matches.
