David Villa starts on the bench for Barcelona against Spartak Moscow in Russia this evening, as does Carles Puyol.

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has left striker David Villa out of his starting lineup for this evening's Champions League Group G clash against Spartak Moscow.

The Spain international is on the bench along with centre-back Carles Puyol, as Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano will marshal the defence for the Catalan giants.

Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Pedro will lead Barca's attack in Russia this evening.
