Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany could be in line to make his return from injury when his side welcome Paris Saint-Germain to the Etihad Stadium for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday.
Kompany has missed large chunks of this season due to a persistent calf problem, including each of the last four games.
However, manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed after his side's 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion this afternoon that the Belgium international will be assessed on Monday to determine whether he is ready to return ahead of schedule.
There is also concern over Sergio Aguero after he limped off in the closing stages of the win over the Baggies, although Samir Nasri did make his first start since September in that game and Yaya Toure made his return off the bench.
Pellegrini revealed that David Silva will be available on Tuesday despite sitting out today's match as City look to book their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time.
The Premier League outfit hold a slight advantage at the halfway stage of their tie with PSG following a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Parc des Princes last Wednesday.
