The agent of Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has actively encouraged Bayern Munich to make an approach for the Netherlands international.
The 30-year-old's existing deal with the Reds is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that he will be leaving Anfield on a free transfer.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with the Dutchman, who has scored three times in 46 appearances at club level during the 2020-21 campaign.
However, the midfielder's agent Humphry Nijman has now opened the door for Bayern to offer his client the chance to move to the Allianz Arena.
"Wijnaldum is a free transfer and it keeps all options open. FC Bayern is a great club. If you are interested in them, please do not hesitate to talk to us," Nijman told Sport1.
The Dutchman has scored 22 times and registered 16 assists in 232 appearances for Liverpool since joining the club from Newcastle United in July 2016.
