Luis Suarez insists he will not leave Liverpool this summer

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez insists that "nothing is going to happen" with regards to a possible transfer away from Anfield this summer.

Luis Suarez has insisted that he will remain a Liverpool player next season as rumours surrounding his future are expected to rumble at the end of the campaign.

The Uruguayan international tried to orchestrate a move away from Anfield last summer but despite approaches from Arsenal, Liverpool kept hold of the prolific forward.

This season, Suarez has scooped the PFA Player of the Year award after scoring 30 goals after missing the first six games due to suspension for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

Real Madrid have been linked with a summer swoop for Suarez, who has helped Liverpool qualify for next season's Champions League.

The Reds could also claim their first league title since 1990 as they currently have a two-point lead at the top of the table with two games left to play.

"Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to me," Suarez told Uruguayan TV channel Canal 10. "I'm very happy here and my family is happy here.

"If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible - a dream come true."

Liverpool will take on Crystal Palace next Monday at Selhurst Park before welcoming Newcastle United to Anfield for their final home game on May 11.
