Mamadou Sakho '99.9% certain' to leave Liverpool in January

A report in France claims that Mamadou Sakho is '99.9% certain' to leave Liverpool when the January transfer window opens for business.

Mamadou Sakho is reportedly '99.9%' certain to depart Liverpool in the January transfer window.

The Frenchman has not represented the Reds this season after being sent home from the club's pre-season tour of the United States in the summer due to concerns over his attitude.

The centre-back has also struggled with injury in the opening months of the 2016-17 campaign and it has been widely reported that there is no way back for the 26-year-old at Anfield.

According to France Football, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sell Sakho when the winter transfer window opens at the start of 2017 and there are a number of clubs interested in his signature.

The former Paris Saint-Germain captain, who has been training with Liverpool's reserves this season, made 33 appearances for his English club last term.
