Inter Milan are not worried about losing Marcelo Brozovic to Liverpool because the Croatian midfielder's release clause is set at £53m, according to a report.

Liverpool have reportedly been informed that it will take €60m (£53m) to sign Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan.

The Reds are rumoured to have recently approached Inter over a move for the Croatian midfielder, who has been used 32 times in all competitions this season.

Calciomercato reports that Inter are not worried about losing the 27-year-old at the end of the season, however, despite having just two years to run on his existing contract.

Brozovic is said to have a £53m release clause inserted in his deal, which the Italian giants do not expect Liverpool to trigger.

The same report indicates that Antonio Conte's side are in the process of discussing fresh terms with the former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder, which could end Liverpool's interest for good.
