Report: Liverpool offer contract to Samuel Eto'o

Liverpool reportedly offer Samuel Eto'o a one-year contract worth £75,000 per week.

Liverpool have allegedly offered a contract to free agent Samuel Eto'o.

The Reds are willing to hand the former Chelsea striker a one-year deal on £75,000 per week, with performance-related bonuses and the option of a second year if he impresses, Goal.com reports.

The Cameroon international has attracted interest from a host of clubs, including Ajax and Everton, since being released by Chelsea at the end of last season.

Eto'o could link up with his former Inter Milan teammate Mario Balotelli at Liverpool, with the Reds said to be on the brink of signing the Italy international.
