Liverpool have reportedly agreed a £16m fee with AC Milan for striker Mario Balotelli.
The Merseyside outfit began talks with the Serie A club this week as Liverpool try to sign a new forward following the departure of Luis Suarez this summer.
Milan confirmed that Balotelli is leaving the club via a statement on their official website, which said: "Mario Balotelli drove out of Milanello at 13.30 after saying goodbye to his teammates and the club's press staff."
According to BBC Sport, Liverpool and Milan have agreed on a fee for the controversial Italian international, but negotiations regarding personal terms are continuing with the player himself.
The 24-year-old, who has previously complained about living in England, joined Milan back in January 2013 after spending three years at Manchester City.
