Mario Balotelli has reportedly confirmed that he is leaving AC Milan this summer amid reports that Liverpool are interested in signing the controversial striker.
Widespread reports have claimed that the Merseyside outfit are in talks with the Italy international regarding a permanent deal.
It is believed that the two parties are discussing a fee in the region of £17m for the 24-year-old, who joined the Serie A club in January 2013 after three years at Manchester City.
According to Sky Sport Italia, today Balotelli said: "This will be my last day at Milan."
Liverpool have been in the hunt for a striker following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona earlier this summer.
