Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly identified Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as a potential future signing.
While Eden Hazard was brought in as Real's star addition ahead of this season, there was a tinge of disappointment that neither Paul Pogba nor Neymar arrived from Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain respectively.
However, according to reports in Spain, Perez is already considering the club's options with regards to their activity in the transfer market next summer.
Given the complexities involved in any deal for Kylian Mbappe or Harry Kane, it is claimed that an approach may be made for Salah within the next 12 months.
It is suggested that Perez would be willing to spend £187m on the Egypt international, as well as matching his current wage at Anfield.
Unless a specific request is made by the player, Liverpool are unlikely to want to part ways with their top goalscorer from the last two campaigns, who still has just under four years left on his contract.
