Lucas Moura: 'I've had no contact with Liverpool'

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura says that he has had no contact with Jurgen Klopp after reports linked him with a move to Liverpool.

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura has said that he would prefer to try to regain his place in the starting lineup in France rather than move elsewhere in the summer.

Moura has been linked with a whole host of different sides - including Liverpool - after being regularly used off the bench at the Ligue 1 champions last season, but the Brazilian international has insisted that he has received no contact regarding a potential transfer.

The 23-year-old told Globo Esporte: "I'm not aware of anything, I'm just knowing what's coming out on the internet by the press. [Jurgen Klopp] had no contact with me, it's just speculation – summed up in a news conference.

"I want to do a good pre-season and wait for Tite's next Brazil squad. I'm sure he'll be watching us all playing in Europe.

"Of course I am hoping to return to the national team and establish myself there, but my first focus is to establish myself at PSG as a starter and then I'm sure the opportunity will appear."

Since signing for PSG in January 2013, 54 of Moura's 152 appearances in all competitions have been as a substitute.
