Liverpool youngster Anderson Arroyo to move to Gent?

Liverpool are reportedly ready to allow youngster Anderson Arroyo to spend the season on loan at Gent.

Liverpool have reportedly given permission for Anderson Arroyo to spend the season at Gent.

The Colombia Under-20 international made the switch to Liverpool in February, before spending the rest of the campaign on loan at Spanish side Mallorca.

The defender made 13 appearances for the club's 'B' team and had been expected to feature in the first-team squad this season, but according to Goal.com, Liverpool have instead opted to send the 18-year-old to Gent.

Arroyo will link up with fellow Liverpool youngster Taiwo Awoniyi, who is also spending the campaign on loan at the Belgian outfit.

Liverpool are allegedly hoping that stints at Gent will help their efforts to secure the work permit required to feature in English football.
