Liverpool have reportedly moved closer to pushing through a deal to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
Last month, it was claimed that Jurgen Klopp was taking an interest in the teenager, who had already made 28 appearances in the Bundesliga.
Since then, Havertz has continued to impress in Germany, with three starts and two substitute outings coming in all competitions, and it appears to have led to Liverpool stepping up their efforts to sign the 18-year-old.
According to Football Whispers, the midfielder has already been given a tour of Liverpool's Melwood training ground by Klopp, Steven Gerrard and Philippe Coutinho.
However, Havertz is contracted to Leverkusen until 2022, suggesting that Liverpool will have to pay over the odds to sign the prospect.
