Brazil winger Neymar has reportedly been trying to convince Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho to join him at Paris Saint-Germain instead of signing for Barcelona.
Liverpool turned down three big-money bids from Barcelona for the playmaker during the summer, refusing to sell one of their star players despite Coutinho handing in a transfer request.
The Spanish giants are expected to go back in for Coutinho in the January transfer window, but this time they are likely to face competition for his signature from PSG.
Le 10 Sport claims that Neymar is using the international break as an opportunity to sell PSG to Coutinho, urging him to move to the French capital instead of Camp Nou.
Neymar joined PSG in a world-record £200m deal from Barca during the summer, and the Ligue 1 outfit flexed their financial muscles again by also agreeing a £166m deal to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Liverpool remain desperate to keep Coutinho and are particularly reluctant to sell in January, but could be resigned to losing him next summer having already kept him at the club against his will once.
Coutinho's agent Kia Joorabchian was pictured with PSG's sporting director Antero Henrique recently, increasing speculation that the French club could be planning a bid.
