Liverpool consider summer move for Southampton's Jay Rodriguez?

Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez with an eye to signing him in the summer.

Liverpool have reportedly placed Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez on their summer transfer wishlist.

The 23-year-old, who moved to St Mary's from Burnley last summer, is thought to have caught the Merseyside club's eye, but is not expected to be allowed to leave Southampton easily.

It is understood that Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to sign Rodriguez due to the player fitting into the Northern Irishman's style of play, according to the Daily Star.

Rodriguez will have three years remaining on his contract at the end of the season.
