Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reportedly maintains an interest in signing Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
Last summer, Barca moved to sign Dembele from Borussia Dortmund after making the decision to sell Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain, but the attacker endured a frustrating first campaign with the Catalan giants.
Injury restricted Dembele to four goals and six assists from 20 appearances in La Liga and Champions League fixtures, and it appears uncertain whether the French international will spend next season at the club.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Klopp is ready to launch an approach for the 21-year-old, despite the player still having four years remaining on his contract.
Barca spent in excess of £100m to sign Dembele, effectively leaving Liverpool to pay a similar fee or look to secure a loan deal which will benefit both clubs.
A report has suggested that the Spanish champions may have to raise funds before making a move for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
