Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly emerged as a target for Real Madrid.
On Thursday, Zinedine Zidane made the shock announcement that he was stepping down as boss of the Spanish giants after guiding the club to a third successive Champions League crown last weekend.
The decision has left Real looking for a replacement but while the bookmakers regard former Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger as favourite, it appears that the La Liga club are taking a wider look at the Premier League.
According to The Sun, president Florentino Perez is ready to launch an approach for Klopp, despite the Liverpool manager still having four years remaining on his contract at Anfield.
Perez is said to be an admirer of Klopp's 'personality and character' and would like to see the German at the Bernabeu, but Liverpool are expected to fight hard to keep the 50-year-old on Merseyside.
Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino is another name to be linked with Real, despite only penning a new long-term contract last week.
