AC Milan 'rival Liverpool for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner'

AC Milan are reportedly interested in RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner and will rival Liverpool for his signature.

AC Milan are reportedly planning to rival Liverpool for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

The 22-year-old netted 13 times in the Bundesliga this season, leading the Red Bulls to a second consecutive season of European football.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have joined the race to sign the German international to boost their striking options.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of Werner and is understood to want to bring him to Anfield this summer.

However, RB Leipzig do not want to sell their star striker after already parting ways with Naby Keita to the Reds.
