Juventus confirm Mario Balotelli interest

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has admitted that he would like to sign Mario Balotelli from Liverpool.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has admitted that he would like to bring Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli to the club.

The Italy international as struggled to make an impact at Anfield since moving from AC Milan during the summer for £16m.

Allegri previously managed the 24-year-old for a season during his spell with the Rossoneri.

"Mario had a good season with me," The Times quotes Allegri as saying.

"Unfortunately he's built up a character outside of the world of football and everyone talks about what he does off the pitch. All coaches love to lead the best players."

Balotelli has scored two goals in 18 appearances for Liverpool this season.
