Everton win the race to sign Brazilian teenager Reinier ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City, according to a report.

Everton have reportedly won the race to sign Brazilian teenager Reinier ahead of Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.

The 17-year-old has not yet made his first-team debut for Flamengo but has impressed for his team's Under-20 outfit, in addition to making a strong impression for Brazil's Under-17s.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Liverpool and City were preparing to lock horns for the youngster, who will see his current deal with Flamengo expire in December 2020.

However, according to Esporte Interativo, Everton have secured a £36m deal for Reinier, with the South American due to arrive at Goodison Park in January when he turns 18.

AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have also been credited with an interest this summer.

The Toffees, meanwhile, are also said to be closing in on a deal for Juventus forward Moise Kean.
