Kenny Dalglish expects Luis Suarez stay

Former Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish expects Luis Suarez to stay at the club for the remainder of the season.

Former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has revealed that he expects the club to keep hold of Luis Suarez during the January transfer window.

The Uruguayan striker has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Anfield in recent months, with Real Madrid reportedly leading the chase for his signature.

Despite some uncertainty over his future, Dalglish is confident that Suarez will stay at Liverpool until at least the end of the season.

"There will be speculation about Luis Suarez leaving the Reds. There always is. But I don't think he's going anywhere," the Scot told The Mirror.

"He's thriving in this Liverpool team and everyone at Anfield knows he is crucial to maintaining a [title] challenge."

Suarez has scored eight goals in seven games for Liverpool during the current campaign.
