Christian Benteke will reportedly finalise his move to Liverpool from Aston Villa at some point today.
The Belgian has been a rumoured target for the Merseyside outfit for some time as manager Brendan Rodgers aims to add firepower to the team for the upcoming season.
Last week, it was reported that the Reds had met the striker's £32.5m buyout clause shortly after selling Raheem Sterling to Manchester City for a £49m fee.
According to Sky Sports News, the 24-year-old, who scored 16 goals in 25 appearances for Villa last season, will complete his transfer today.
Should the deal go through, Benteke will become Liverpool's seventh signing of the summer following the arrivals of James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez, Roberto Firmino and Nathaniel Clyne.
