Barcelona are reportedly planning to include Oscar Mingueza in a new proposal to Leeds United for attacker Raphinha.
La Blaugrana have seemingly emerged as leading contenders to sign the Brazil international and supposedly had a £29m bid knocked back by the Whites last week.
With Manchester City and Liverpool supposedly ready to rival Barcelona for Raphinha's services, the Catalan giants are expected to come back with an improved bid ahead of the summer window.
According to Sport, Barca could steal a march on City and Liverpool by including out-of-favour defender Mingueza in the deal, with Leeds thought to have taken a liking to the 22-year-old.
The report adds that Leeds have enquired about Mingueza's situation at Camp Nou, and Barcelona are increasingly optimistic that a deal can be struck for Raphinha.
Mingueza has two assists to his name from 22 appearances in a Barcelona shirt this term, but he has started just eight La Liga matches in the 2021-22 season.
