Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato has suggested that he could leave the Brazil club in the future amid reports that Liverpool are poised to sign him.

The 26-year-old, who had spells at Inter Milan and AC Milan across a six-year spell, is believed to have agreed in principle to join Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side.

However, Pato himself remained quiet as he told told reporters, "I do not know, I hope soon," when he was asked if he would return to Europe, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Pato signed for Corinthians in 2013.
