Jay Spearing says that he is looking forward to the return of Luis Suarez this weekend.

Jay Spearing has said that he is looking forward to the return of Luis Suarez this weekend.

The striker will return to action against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday after serving an eight-game ban for making racist remarks to Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.

"It's going to be great to have Luis back," Spearing said. "He provides a huge contribution to the team and has been a big loss as he is a massive player.

"But we are a massive club and have a good squad behind us now. The results we have had this past week have brought the team closer together.

"If we continue to play like we did at Wolves, we will cause teams a lot of problems."

Liverpool are currently sixth in the Premier League with 38 points from 23 games.
